2) For every one of those people you have hurt or fought with, ask yourself how many times have you insulted them.

3) How many of those whom you have hurt have you apologized/said sorry to, or mentioned them in your supplications/prayers/du’as to compensate for your wrongdoing or misbehavior.

4) Count the times or moments you wasted on watching movies and satellite/cable channels, listening to music, playing games, chatting about things that don’t concern you, and ‘doing nothing’. Estimate how many times have you prayed to Allah, supplicated to Allah, cried to Allah, asked from Allah, helped a Muslim, taught something you know about your religion Islam, shared Islamic knowledge, read the Qur’an, taught someone how to read the Qur’an and other good deeds. Which is more: the times you spent on wrongdoing, or the times you spent doing good deeds that please Allah.

5) If you were to die right now, at this very moment, as you are reading this text, if Allah took your soul right now while you are using the computer, do you think you would meet God (Allah) while He is pleased with you (because you have many good deeds and Muslims who can witness that you were a good Muslim) or while He is displeased with you?
